COPS n ROBBERS

The last two weeks was a bit too hectic since I shifted into a new apartment and I didn't get proper sleep with all of the shifting. I decided to catch up on all that lost sleep on my last weekend but unfortunately I was woken up by my boss at 8:45 am on a Friday. I was surprised to c his name on my mobile , I was fearing whether I was late at work but then realized it was a day off and still answered the phone. After wishin him he told me a shocking news that BURJUMAN was ROBBED and it was a big robbery n when I mean big I mean 25 million Dhs BIG. He told me that I mite have to come to office to help the C.I.Ds to retrieve the video recordings of what happened. After hanging up I cudnt sleep again. I freshened up and went to office to c a lot of C.I.Ds walkin around in my office and trying to find out who the culprit was. But sadly I found out that they were wearing masks. My colleague told me that the cops had sealed off the whole building and didn't let anyone inside. But luckily I got in. After all of this I went to the scene of the crime to notice shattered glass and cops trying to gather a few finger prints but in vain cos the robbers wore gloves. It was a simple robbery but done very well. Our security cudnt do anything cos our guys aren't allowed to carry any weapons and the robbers had knifes and even a gun ( which they didn't use ) . The news spread very fast bcos even the cops said they didn't expect BURJUMAN to be robbed cos of its security and security systems.

I went home that day and came for work the next day and the day was normal but a lot of talk abt how it happened and what would be done cos there weren't any clues.

That nite I was woken up by the security supervisor of burjuman and she asked me about how I could retrieve the recording from the main database. I don't know what I told her but I did get couple more call from her but I didn't answer the call cos I had to wake up at 5:45 am cos I have to go to the gym and then to office by 8:15 am. Once I reached work the security guys were askin me for help cos they didn't know how to retrieve the recordings of the previous days and the C.I.Ds came into the picture . They asked me to join them in finding out the crooks. Well since its an interesting thing and its something I haven't done. I joined them . They didn't want me to go outside burjuman , but I had to join them in burjuman to go to various shops and speak to the shop owners and retrieve the videos that they had got ( u had to c how the tenants were shivering the moment the C.I.Ds showed their badges ) Within the next three day most of the ppl started losing hope and the C.I.Ds were still not tellin me abt any of the clues they had got but I got an idea that they had suspects.

The next day the C.I.D greeted me with a smile and they told me that they caught the thieves and they asked me to join them for coffee. They later thanked me for all the help that led to the capture . They said that ppl usually don't help in cases like this cos of the fear of being suspected . But I was extremely happy to have helped them and the last three days even though I stayed back late at nite , It was definitely worth it......

Well abt the thieves , there were 3 of them , 2 guys and 1 lady. They stole around 140 watches each costing more than 60,000 Dhs each. Anyways, it was a lot of fun . But I have got to say, now the security in BURJUMAN has tightened and you mite get questioned by our guards incase if u act weird .

Well today my weekend starts and I am going to party and when I mean party I mean sleep properly for 12 hrs minimum . That's my partying style for now. Would change the partyin style later in the yr. Hope you all enjoyed my experience working with C.I.Ds .............

And the WINNER IS...................

Won A Portable DVD Player

I had attended a Backup Solution Seminar in Dubai Crown Plaza & after the Seminar there was a raffle draw for a Panasonic Portable DVD Player and as you can see , I won it . I was actually very surprised that out of all the ppl who attended the seminar , they managed to pick my name. It reminded me of a quiz competition when i was back in college. One of my friends had given my name as well and I found out just as the competition was to start and the names were picked out from a lot and just b4 they picked the 1st name, I joking told all my friends that if they called my name then say i am not here . But surprisingly the 1st name they called was MINE n all eyes were on me. I seriously didnt know what to do and I actually felt like covering up myself . But I did get on to the stage and i was able to get down at a record time of less than a minute. But the best thing was I still managed to get a FREE COKE :)

Meeooow Meeooow Wooof Wooof

Finallllyyyyy I witnessed a good sight ( no no no not that one ;) ) in Dubai after a long time . Today morning i woke up at 7:15 to notice the bright n shining sun but the weather reports said it would rain. A bit disappointed i went in for my morning chores and when i got back into my room it looked as those it was evening and then i noticed the sky was crowded with angry looking clouds but strangly no rain. Then i slowly dressed and got out of my building with garbage bag on one hand and my laundry on other i noticed that its raining CATs n DOGs n i knew i would get drenched. I saw my watchman n he gave me a cap n i gave him my garbage bag :> n i ran into my car (sadly my car is all dirty now :( ) But still i then dropped off my laundry n went to work and it was an amazing sight to see thick dark cloud covering dubai and a bit of lightning as well.

As soon as i got to work, i met my colleagues and we went all around the mall to check for any water leaks or damages caused cos of the rain. Thats when i clicked this snap on my mobile ( poor clarity ) Imate mobile . Anyways, it looks very gloomy outside but i did notice a lot of smiles on many faces because of the rains n i am sure most of them are happy to see rain in DUBAI .

So the next thing what i want to know is "When is it going to SNOW in Dubai ? " :>

A New Day A New Beginning

Well , I guess this is a thing that i have never done before and seems to be interesting. I guess today i was not too busy at work and was just browsing thru my favorites list n thats when i noticed that i had saved my friend (Natasha's) blog. I found it pretty interesting and then decided what it would be like to start this , So here goes.....

For ppl who dont know me .
I am Supin Sudharsam a very plain n simple guy who just loves to have fun with family n friends. I am 26 yr ONLY but i think i do look a bit more than that because of my size (body mainly) ;) I am currently working as the IT Engineer of a Shopping Mall which i think is Advanced in terms of IT infrastructure but toooooo costly in terms of shopping. But hey what the hell, i am not complaining cos i do get some discounts at most of the outlets.

My work environment is gr8 cos there r mostly youngsters and work tension is not too much but there r days when it does get hectic when my rear wudnt get time to meet my office chair. But on those kinda days i am actually even more happier when i go home cos i know that i have done a job which most probably others wudnt have been able to accomplish. By the way , i am goin to complete my 1st year at my present job, so me and my colleague (who joined on the same day as i did) are planning to give a treat to some of the guys at work.

I guess most of my friend know this by now , but those who dont , i am a Technology and a Car freak and thats y the TECHniCARity ( cudnt find any other better title ) At present I own a couple of technology related stuff and i have got a Hyundai Coupe 2005 ( i call her BlackBeauty) and i have incorporated the technology along with my car so that i enjoy the time i spend with my Black Beauty. Thats me next to my car.

Well..... there is a lot more to write about myself ,but i guess i shall stop for now cos some important work has come up and its better i finish it now n not keep it for later.
